Witham MP remains Home Secretary

Witham MP Priti Patel has kept her job as Home Secretary.

The Prime Minister is reshuffling his cabinet, saying he needs a strong team at the top to help Britain build back better from the pandemic.

In a tweet, Ms Patel said it's a 'huge privilege' to continue serving as Home Secretary, adding there's still 'much more to deliver', including tackling illegal immigration, cutting crime and 'continuing to keep our great country safe'.
