Deaths of two people in Braintree treated as unexplained

Police say the deaths of two people in Braintree are being treated as unexplained.

Officers were called to Fisher Way at around 3.40pm on Tuesday 9th August to concerns for the welfare of two people.

Emergency services were called and two people in their 70s were found dead.

Police say they're investigating the circumstances but say they're not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident - which is being treated as isolated.

The families of the two people are being supported.
