Two men injured in Halstead fight
It happened in the early hours of Sunday

A man has been arrested, after an incident in Halstead.
Police were alerted to a fight taking place outside a venue in Trinity Street, shortly after 1am on Sunday (24 November.)
Officers quickly arrived and found one man had sustained wounds to his torso and a second man had sustained a serious head injury.
Both were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.
Enquiries identified a number of people had potentially been involved in the incident and officers are following a number of targeted lines of enquiry.
At this stage, one man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
Detective Sergeant Luke Howard, of Braintree CID, said: “Our work on this incident is continuing today at pace and we’ve got a number of targeted lines of enquiry that we’re pursuing.
“Clearly, this incident has taken place in front of a large number of people outside The Dorrington Hotel so I know there will be a number of people who have witnessed it and I would urge anyone who has information to please come forward.”
