Two men charged after series of robberies in Clacton

Two people have been charged in connection with a series of robbed in Clacton over the past week.

The offences happened between October 2 and October 6. Multiple victims were approached in locations across the town, including Pier Avenue.

On several occasions victims had mobile phones taken.

Two people were later tracked down at the Magic City Amusements.

Joshua McCorquodale, 18 of Upper Park Road, London has since been charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

A 17-year-old boy has also been charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the robberies.

In particular they're strying to trace a member of the public who witnessed one of the robberies at around 7:30pm on October 5 outside Buzz Bingo.
