Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Coggeshall this morning has left three people in hospital.

Officers were called to the crash on the A120 shortly before 8.50am after the drivers of a blue Hyundai and a grey Volkswagen collided resulting in a third car, a parked white Toyota, being hit.

The road was closed at the Coggeshall by-pass in both directions whilst emergency services were on scene.

The road is now open.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time to come forward.

They’d also like to ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have a dash cam, to check their footage to see if they have captured anything that could help the investigation.
