Two men charged after stabbing in Southend
Police were called to Chichester Road on Tuesday afternoon
Two men have been charged after a man was found with a stab wound to his torso in Southend on Tuesday (November 28).
Essex Police were called to Chichester Road just after 3:20pm, the man was taken to hospital and he remains in a stable condition there.
Two men were arrested by officers shortly after and now have been charged.
31-year-old Daniel Mallet, of York Road, Southend has now been charged with GBH with intent and possession of a bladed article.
30-year-old Paul Hughes, also of York Road, Southend, has also been charged with GBH with intent and assault by beating.
They're due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court today (November 30).
Essex Police are continuing to appeal for information or any CCTV, dash cam or other footage to be passed onto them.
