Two arrested over Basildon stabbing
A man in his 30s was stabbed on Tuesday evening
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Basildon.
A man in his 30s suffered serious chest injuries after an incident on Travers Way on Tuesday evening.
He remains in hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Two men aged 19 and 25 have been arrested.
They are also being questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs, and possession of Class A drugs.
A third man has been released on bail.
