A track and trace system will be used at Colchester Zoo when visitors return next week.

Following recent changes from the Government, the zoo is required to collect contact details for anyone over the age of 16.

People wishing to visit when outdoor areas reopen from Monday (12 April) will need to submit their details ahead of attending.

They will be prompted to fill out a form when an E-ticket is purchased which must be complete in order to receive a confirmation email.

Zoo Passholders won't need to fill out their contact details as they will already be on the zoo's system.
