Police have dealt with three crashes in Essex over the weekend, in Leigh, Clacton and Tiptree.
A man died, after a crash in Clacton on Saturday afternoon (6 September).
Officers were called to a single-vehicle collision on Bertram Avenue, at about 12.45pm.
Despite the efforts of paramedics and air ambulance crews, a 78-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed.
Police are asking for anyone with any information about this collision to get in touch quoting incident 566 of Saturday 6 September.

Meanwhile, a man has died, after a collision in Leigh, on Saturday evening (6 September).
It was a two-vehicle collision, between a motorcycle and car on London Road, at about 7pm.
The motorcyclist was treated by paramedics, but the 56-year-old man died at the scene.
His family has been informed.
A 54-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Officers spoke to a number of witnesses at the scene and are asking for anyone else with any information about this collision to get in touch quoting incident 1112 of Saturday 6 September.
A man has died, after a collision near Tiptree on Saturday night (6 September).
Officers and ambulance crews were called to a collision between a pedestrian and a car on the B1022 close to Pods Wood at about 9.45pm.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene but, the 41-year-old man was pronounced dead by paramedics.
His family has been informed.
