Three charged after man assaulted and woman hit by car in Brentwood

The woman suffered serious injuries during the incident on October 16

Three people have been charged after an incident in Brentwood during which a man was assaulted and a woman was hit by a car.

Police were called to Queens Road shortly before 1:30pm on Sunday October 16, funding a woman with serious injuries to her leg.

Several people who were arrested at the time have now been charged.

Vicenzo Bytqi, 28, of Green Lanes, Edmonton has been charged with possession of a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place, GBH with intent, and dangerous driving.

Veron Nikolla, 19, of Eastfield Road, Brentwood and 55 year-old Zef Nikolla, of Home Gardens, Dagenham has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and affray.

All are due before Basildon Crown Court on November 15.
