Three arrested during operation to tackle 'high harm' crime in North Essex
Police have been stopping cars believed to be linked to crime in Tendring and Colchester
Three people have been arrested in North Essex, as part of a continuing police operation to tackle 'high harm' crime in the region.
A 21 year old man from Colchester has been arrested on suspicion of Class A drugs offences, after police found what they think are bags of cocaine during a vehicle search.
He's also been reported for driving without insurance.
Two women have been arrested in Clacton after police stopped a vehicle thought to be linked to anti-social behaviour.
A 64-year-old woman from Clacton was questioned on suspicion of theft. She has been released under investigation.
47-year-old woman from Clacton was questioned on suspicion of theft and driving without insurance. She has been released on bail until next month.

“Our officers are out on the streets of Essex 24 hours a day, seven days a week to protect the public, detect crime and catch criminals.
