Three arrested after man assaulted and woman hit by car in Brentwood
Police were called to a disturbance on Queens Road yesterday afternoon
Three people have been arrested after an incident in Brentwood, during which a man was assaulted and a woman was hit by a car.
Police were called to Queens Road shortly before 1:30pm yesterday (October 16).
The woman suffered serious leg injuries, while the man suffered minor injuries.
It's believed it was a targeted incident and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who captured CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
A 55 year-old man from Dagenham has been arrested on suspicion of affray, a 19 year-old from Brentwood and a 28 year-old from Edmonton have both been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
