Essex Police have arrested three men within 30 minutes of an aggravated burglary in Clacton.
They were called in the early hours of this morning to an address at the Gorse Lane Industrial Estate in Brunel Road, where a group of men in balaclavas with knives were trying to break into a unit there.
A police pursuit followed officers arriving at the scene, which led to the men decamping the car and were then arrested by police, who found balaclavas and stolen items inside.
Three men from London – aged 19, 25, and 30 – have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and are currently in custody.
