A new website has been launched for Tendring leisure centres
Information has been moved from the council website
A brand-new website has been launched for Tendring leisure centres.
The website, www.tendringleisure.co.uk, contains information about all five of the Tendring District Council-run (TDC) centres.
Information on the range of available classes and sports people can take part in are also on the new site.
Alex Porter, TDC Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, said the new site was a one-stop-shop for people.
“Whether you’re a regular visitor or member at our leisure centres or looking for new ways to get active, this fresh-feeling website has everything you need,” Cllr Porter said.
“We are very proud of our leisure services which cater for all ages, abilities and interests – whether you’re aged five and learning to swim, 45 and playing football, or 85 and enjoying badminton – in some top facilities.
“While this information was on the council’s own website, we recognised that people interact with the leisure centres very differently to TDC as a local authority, so it made sense to separate out that information.”
