Ten charged after Essex Police execute drug warrants

Arrests were made as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Harlow

Ten people have been charged after Essex Police carried out a number of warrants early on Tuesday (20 December) morning.

Arrests were made as part of the investigation into supply of Class A drugs in Harlow - which saw officers execute warrants in Harlow, Hertfordshire and London.

Ten people have now been charged after appearing at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 21 December.

Courtney Barrett, 27, of Lawes Way, Barking, has been charged with three counts of supplying a Class A drug and one count of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Ferruchi Tong, 36, of Berecroft, Harlow, has been charged with three counts of supplying a Class A drug and one count of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Ryan Walker, 34, of The High, Harlow, is charged with supplying a Class A drug.

They were remanded into custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on January 18 2023.

Grant Rayner, 37, of Northbrooks, Harlow, was charged with supplying a Class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

He admitted the charges at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 21 December and will be sentenced on a date yet to be arranged.

The following have all been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs:

  • Kieran Morgan, 33, of Spring Hills, Harlow
  • Jahangar Hikmatshah, 21, of Charters Cross, Harlow;
  • Jason Homes, 41, of Wagtail Crescent, Harlow;
  • Mohammed Yasin, 25, of Sycamore Field, Harlow;
  • Leon Callander, 39, of Newport Avenue, London;
  • Paul Greer, 42, of the Dashes, Harlow

They were also remanded into custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on January 18 2023.
