Teenager seriously injured in Harlow

It happened yesterday morning and has left the victim with a head injury

Detectives are investigating an assault in Harlow, which has left a teenager with a serious head injury.

Officers received a call at 9.15am on Sunday 2 February, reporting a 17 year-old boy had been found injured in a car park in the Guilfords area.

He had been subjected to a serious assault and had sustained a fractured skull.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Inspector Lisa Hurrell, who’s leading the investigation, said: “My team is working hard to establish what led up to the victim becoming injured.

“There will be a very visible police presence in the area while we carry out our enquiries.
