Teenager stabbed in the leg during attempted robbery in Southend
Police are appealing for witnesses
A teenage boy's been stabbed in the leg during an attempted robbery in Southend.
Police say the victim was alone in Lifstan Way play area near Riviera Drive at around 12.25pm on Thursday 25th November, when he was approached by two unknown men who demanded he hand over his bike and bag.
The teenager was left with a stab wound following an altercation.
The two men left empty-handed - they were last seen heading towards Southend East Train Station.
Both suspects are described as being between 19 and 22 years-old.
One is described as being of mixed heritage and taller than the other man. He had long black hair that may have been in braids or cornrows and was wearing a black coat and black tracksuit.
He was in possession of a knife.
The second man is described as white, around 5ft 8inches tall, with skinny arms and legs but wide shoulders. He had long dirty blonde hair in curtains and wore a light grey tracksuit possibly with green accents on it. He wore black Airforce 95s.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have information.
