Teen in hospital with serious injuries after Clacton crash
A man's been arrested on suspicion of drug driving
A teenage boy's in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Clacton last night (February 7).
Police were called to Carnarvon Road by the ambulance service to the crash which happened just before 6pm.
A cyclist, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital after his bike crashed with a car.
A man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and remains in custody.
Essex Police say the road was closed for investigations until just before 1am, and now they're appealing for witnesses and footage of the area around the time of the crash.
