18-year-old charged over Colchester stabbing

A man in his 60s was attacked over the weekend

After a man was stabbed in Colchester, a teenager has been charged.

18-year-old Tyler Menzies, from Walsingham Road, is charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

The 63-year-old was attacked on Crouch Street on Saturday and was treated in hospital for a stab wound.

Menzies is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ court today, Monday 24 May.
