Steel-framed furniture worth around £1,000 stolen in Colchester

Essex Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward

Steel-framed furniture to the value of around £1,000 has been taken from a locked storage area in Colchester.

The burglary happened on Baronswood Way, sometime between 6pm on Friday (15 January) and 9am the next day.

Essex Police have said entry to the storage area was forced and a quantity of the steel-framed furniture was taken.

A few weeks prior to this, a large quantity of copper piping was also taken.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting crime reference 42/8411/21.
