Southend road closed after serious crash involving several cars and woman
Hamlet Court Road is expected to be shut for some time
A road is closed in Southend following a crash between serval vehicles and a woman.
Officers were called to the collision on Hamlet Court Road shortly after 12.15pm today.
The pedestrian, a woman, suffered serious injuries and has been taken on to hospital.
A road closure is in place and will remain in place for some time.
