Serious collision on Magdalen Street in Colchester
The road is likely to be closed for most of today.
Essex Police say they are at the scene of a serious collision in Colchester which is likely to have an impact throughout today.
They were called shortly before 4.40am today (Saturday 1 February) to reports a vehicle had been in collision with a building in Magdalen Street.
Emergency services responded and the road has been closed.
The road is expected to remain shut throughout today while an investigation takes place.
People will be able to go to the Aldi on Magdalen Street by foot but not by car and police are working with residents affected by the road closure about access to and from their properties.
