Serious collision in Billericay
Officers are currently at the scene
Essex Police have confirmed they have closed a road in Billericay after a serious collision (27 July).
The force said emergency services are at the scene in Botney Hill Road.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
In a statement on social media Essex Police said: "Officers are currently on scene of a serious collision on Botney Hill Road in Billericay.
"The road remains closed and emergency services are on scene.
"Officers are appealing to any witnesses to contact us citing incident 283 of 27 July."
