Reduced service on Greater Anglia trains due to Storm Eunice

Local rail firm Greater Anglia is cutting back its services tomorrow, due to the arrival of Storm Eunice.

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning covering Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk tomorrow, with winds of over 60 miles per hour expected.

The rail firm says trains will be forced to run at reduced speed, meaning journey times across the network could take longer.

The company is allowing anyone who bought tickets for tomorrow (February 18) to use them on Saturday (February 19).

Services tomorrow will run as follows:

Half hourly service

Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street

Stansted Airport to London

Hourly service

Norwich to London Liverpool Street Intercity service

Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford to London Liverpool Street

Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford to London Liverpool Street

Meridian Water to Stratford

Southminster – Wickford

Harwich – Manningtree

Walton-on-the-Naze - Thorpe-le-Soken

Clacton-on-Sea – Colchester

Witham to Braintree

Hertford East – Broxbourne

Marks Tey to Sudbury

Norwich to Great Yarmouth

Norwich to Lowestoft

Norwich to Stansted Airport will terminate at Cambridge.

Two hourly (one train every two hours)

Norwich to Sheringham

Ipswich to Cambridge

Ipswich to Lowestoft

Ipswich to Felixstowe

Ipswich to Peterborough
