£2m put towards new project to boost employment in Jaywick Sands
A cafe, public toilets and garden are also part of the plans.
£2m is to be invested into a new workspace project in Jaywick Sands, in a bid to boost the local economy and help people into work.
The cash is coming from the South East Local Enterprise Partnership, with a contribution from the local district council.
A new managed workspace and covered market will be created on the former Sun Sport site, including 25 affordable businesses spaces and ten market pitches.
It could create 45 new jobs in the area. A cafe, public toilets and garden are also part of the plans.
Its part of wider leveling up plans for the area, with other projects including the Your Future Matters Project.
It will allow people in Tendring and Harlow to look for apprenticeships, training and qualifications.
