Police launch appeal following Southend sex assault reports

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information following a report of a sexual assault in Southend.

The victim reported that she was in Sunrooms2 in Market Place on Wednesday 18 December when she was assaulted by two men at around midnight.

The suspects left the scene and it was reported that they were then involved in a second incident outside the venue where a man said he was assaulted.

The suspects are described as white men wearing dark jackets and smart clothing.

One is said to be around 5ft 6ins tall with short dark hair.

The second suspect is described as 6ft 3 ins tall. They are both believed to be between 28 and 38 years old.
