Police in Chelmsford have arrested a 42-year old woman on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Officers were called to Tindal Square, close to Chelmsford Cathedral at around 2:15pm on Sunday, 10 September following reports of a disturbance.

A female victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries - Police are looking to speak with locals who saw the incident.
