Police are still appealing for witnesses after an assault in Clacton at the end of September.
Officers were called to Warwick Road at around 6:30pm on the 29th, finding a man with facial injuries who needed hospital treatment.
It's thought three or four people were involved in the attack, with the group arriving in a silver BMW and on a motorbike.
Two men in their 30s have been questioned on suspicion of affray and have been released on bail.
