Police appeal after serious assault in Thurrock
A 23 year old man from Romford has been arrested
A man has been arrested after a serious assault in Thurrock earlier this month.
Police were called to Weston Avenue, outside the Ibis Hotel, on December 16 to reports of a man being attacked.
The victim was taken to hosputal with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
A 23 year old man from Romford has been questioned on suspicion of attempted GBH and has since between released on bail.
Officers are urging people staying at the hotel at the time of the assault to get in touch.
They're also looking for CCTV or dashcam footage.
