Police appeal after safe stolen from Essex church

Police are appealing for any information following a burglary at a church in Woodham Ferrers.

Officers were called with reports that suspects had forced entry through the doors of the Congregational Church in Main Road between 12pm on Friday 9 November and 8am on Sunday 11 November.

The suspects have then conducted a messy search of the church before taking a safe from inside and leaving the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and police want to hear from anyone who may have information relating to this burglary.
