Pensioner dies after being hit by car in Pitsea
The man in his 90s was struck close to a pet shop on Sunday
A pedestrian aged in his 90s died after he was hit by a vehicle in a car park.
The man was struck by the car near to a Pets At Home store in Pitsea on Sunday.
Essex Police said officers were called to the scene, off High Road, shortly after 1.45pm.
The force said that the pensioner died at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
Officers want to speak to witnesses and to anyone with dash cam footage.
