Pedestrian in his 70s dies after fatal Southend crash

A pedestrian has died after a fatal crash in Southend last week.
Essex Police were called to Woodgrange Drive last Wednesday (December 13) after reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 70s was taken to hospital after the collision at around 4:20pm, with serious injuries.
Yesterday, December 20th, he passed away in hospital, and police have informed his family.
A woman was arrested at the scene and has been released on bail.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses, and anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward.
