A 17 year-old girl has been arrested in Harlow on suspicion of assisting an offender following the death of a man in the town earlier this week.

A man in his 20s died at an address in The Hides on Monday 8th November after being attacked.

Police believe it was a targeted attack.

Three men, two aged 18 and the other 23, who were arrested on suspicion of murder in Bournemouth remain in custody.

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Ant Alcock said:

“Our investigation has already made good progress and we are building a picture of the circumstances which led to this tragic incident.

“At this stage we believe this was a targeted attack and there’s no wider risk to the public from what has happened.

“I need anyone who was in the area between 3pm and 6.30pm yesterday to contact us.

“If you have a CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera, please check them to see if you’ve caught anything on them.

“If you live in the area you’ll see an increased police presence over the next 24 hours with additional officers on patrol with support from the Safer Harlow Partnership.

“So if you have any concerns or information please don’t hesitate to speak to one of our officers.”
