Two people have suffered minor head injuries after a crash on the A12.

It happened at around 5pm on Saturday (27 February) on the northbound carriageway, between junction 29 at Ardleigh Crown towards junction 30 at Langham.

A Honda Jazz left the road, before coming to a stop in an adjacent field.

The vehicle was damaged, and the two female occupants – aged 30s and a teenager - had their injuries treated at hospital.

Essex Police would now like to speak to anyone who saw the collision, or the car shortly before it happened.

Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting incident 1086 of 27 February.

Alternatively, reports can be submitted online or by using the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm.

Information can also be given to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
