Police investigating after man threatened and robbed in Southend

Essex Police are appealing for witness following a robbery in Southend where a man was threatened and had money stolen.

It was reported the victim, who’s in his 30s, had been approached by a man on a bike in York Road at around 9.05pm yesterday (Sunday 2 April).

The man threatened the victim with a knife and demanded money.

He took a two-figure sum of cash before making off on a bicycle.

He has been described to us as being slim, in his 30s, with olive skin, and wearing a baseball cap.
