Man suffers facial cut after assault in Clacton

Police are appealing for witnesses

A man has required hospital treatment for a cut on his face, after an assault in Clacton.

It happened at 11.45am on Monday (12 July).

It was reported that a man walking along St Osyth Road began to punch and kick a car.

When the driver got out of his car, he was assaulted by the man.

The victim, a man in his 20s, required hospital treatment for a facial cut.

A 33 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and released under investigation.
