A man who was caught with £400,000 worth of cocaine in Wickford has been jailed for eight years.

Connor was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of criminal property, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of cannabis.

He admitted to all charges and was jailed today at Basildon Crown Court.

Detective Inspector Yoni Adler, of Essex Police, said:

“Given the amount of drugs and cash we seized in Connor’s home, it’s clear he was a significant player in organised criminality.

“The drugs which we seized were bound for the streets of Essex and, as a result of this operation, none of them will cause harm to our communities.
