Man in court charged in connection with serious Colchester crash
A man suffered life-changing injuries
A man will be appearing in court today (9 July) charged in connection with a serious crash in Colchester where a man suffered life-changing injuries.
Officers were called to reports that a silver Citroen Picasso and a pedestrian had been in a collision in Cunobelin Way at around 3.30pm on 27 January.
The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital with injuries which were considered life-threatening.
Forty-year-old Adam West, of Harvey Road in Colchester, faces charges of careless driving and drug driving.
He will be appearing at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
