Man pleads guilty to 27 shoplifting offences in Colchester
He mostly stole meat and alcohol from Co-Ops and One Stop stores
A man has pleaded guilty to a 'large number' of shoplifting offences in Colchester.
Daniel Bannerman mostly stole meat and alcohol and faced 27 counts of shoplifting when he appeared in court of Friday.
The 30-year-old, of no fixed address, is being held until he's sentenced.
He appeared at Colchester magistrates court on Friday 23rd April charged with 27 counts of shoplifting and one count of public order.
The court heard that Bannerman was entering co-op stores and one stop shops across the district and stealing mostly meat and alcohol.
He pleaded guilty to the offences and has been remanded in custody.
