Man found dead after house fire in Stanford Le-Hope

Essex Police were called to a fire at a house in Branksome Avenue, Stanford-le-Hope shortly after 3.05pm yesterday afternoon (4 April).

Officers have said a man inside was found dead, but his death is not currently being treated as suspicious.

An investigation will be carried out by Essex County Fire and Rescue Service into the cause of the fire.
