Man and Dog rescued from Manningtree Quay
They were caught between the dock and a bigger ship
Firefighters have rescued a man and his dog, after they became trapped in Mistley Quay on Wednesday evening.
Crews were called to Manningtree just after 9pm, where their boat had become wedged between a larger ship and the dock.
The man had been trying to dock, but poor weather conditions led to the boat being thrown off course.
The low tide meant the boat was around 12 feet down from the dock, crews had rescued them both by 9:43pm.
