Man dies following crash with roundabout in Wickford

A man has died in a single-vehicle collision with a roundabout in Wickford, Essex.

Officers are continuing to investigate the crash on Wednesday, 4th September.

Emergency services were called to the A130, close to Rayleigh Spur Roundabout, at around 4:30am.

The driver of the car, a 37-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he died later that morning.

His family are aware and receiving support from specialist officers.

Essex police say their Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing enquiries and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage to contact them.
