Man dies after serious assault in Tilbury
Its after a man was found injured in the Feenan Highway area on January 2nd.
A man has died in hospital after being seriously injured in an assault in Tilbury.
The man in his 30s was found in Feenan Highway shortly at around 9:45pm on January 2nd.
Police are now treating the death as a homicide.
19 year old Daniel Curton, of Chesterton Way, was previously charged with attempted murder in connection with the case.
He is next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on February 3rd.
Detective Inspector Julie Gowen, of Essex Police, said:
“I want to express our condolences to the man’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
“Our investigation into this incident is progressing well but still need anyone who we’ve not spoken to who saw anything, or has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage, or any other information to come forward.”
