Man charged with manslaughter in Westcliff
Police have charged a man following an incident in Hainault Avenue.
A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man in Westcliff.
Police were called to Hainault Avenue following reports a man had been assaulted and found injured there are around 10.35pm on Saturday 25th September.
He later died despite the best efforts from paramedics.
Two men were arrested a short time later.
One of them, Radu Ciobanu, who's 24 and from King's Close in Witham, has now been charged with manslaughter.
The other man has been released without charge.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who saw or heard anything that night, or has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage.
