Man charged after someone hit with crossbow bolt in Colchester

A man was left with minor injuries after being struck by a crossbow bolt.

A man's been charged after another man was struck by a crossbow bolt in Colchester.

The 25 year-old victim was treated for minor injuries following the incident in East Street on the 11th September.

Delroy Mairah, who's 40 and from East Street, has been charged with attempting GBH with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and possession of a blade or sharply pointed article in a public place.

He's due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court next month.
