A man from Maldon has been charged after breaching a criminal behaviour order, stopping him from entering Co-op stores in Chelmsford.

The CBO, lasting three years, was imposed on 23-year-old Charlie Hunt-Wragg, of High Street, in August 2023.

He appeared in court on February 23, charged with two counts of shop theft and two counts of breaching the CBO.

He's been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates on April 9.

Essex Police say between the start of the year and February 25, 250 arrests across the county had been made by their officers.
