Arrest made after man hit over the head during assault in Dedham
The victim, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital
A man has been arrested in connection with an incident where a man was struck over the head in Dedham.
Essex Police say the assault happened in the High Street between 6.20pm and 7pm on Wednesday 2 April.
The victim, who’s in 30s, was taken to hospital with an injury to his head.
A 50 year-old man has been arrested as part of the investigation and has since been released on bail until 23 May.
Officers believe there were lots of people in the area at the time and they're asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
