Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Feering

A man in his 30s is in a life-threatening condition in hospital, after being seriously injured in Feering on Good Friday (March 29).

Essex Police have arrested a 67-year-old man from Kelvedon on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.

Officers are working to find out how the man was injured on Friday, believed to be during an incident outside The Bell Inn in Feering.

Whilst investigations are continuing, at this stage they believe he may have been involved in a crash with a vehicle in the car park.

Enquiries are ongoing, police are appealing for information, CCTV, dash cam and other footage which may help their investigation.
