Man arrested after sexual assault in Colchester

A man has been arrested after a sexual assault in Colchester.
A woman in her 40s reported being attacked in Margaret Road at around 4:20am on Tuesday morning.
She told police the assault began inside a vehicle, before she was dragged outside. She suffered head injuries during the attack.
A 48 year-old man from Colchester has been questioned on suspicion of sexual assault, assault, and theft.
He is out on bail until February 8. Police are urging any witnesses to get in touch.
