Man arrested after ambulance and car crash in Great Holland

A man has been arrested after a crash between an ambulance and a car in Great Holland this morning (5 March).

It happened in Pork Lane shortly before 8.55am.

The driver of the car, a Vauxhall Insignia, suffered head injuries, while one member of the ambulance crew sustained an elbow injury.

The road had to be closed until 1.15pm.

A man arrested on suspicion of drink driving and criminal damage has been released under investigation.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information on it to submit a report online or use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm.
